How do I sign up for lessons at Sawtell Eventing?

You can sign up for lessons by filling out the form on our website or by calling or texting us at (615) 948-9750 Our staff will be happy to help you schedule your first lesson.

What is the cost of lessons at Sawtell Eventing?

Our lesson prices vary depending on the length and type of lesson. Please visit our website or contact us for more information on pricing.

What is the minimum age requirement for riding lessons?

We recommend that riders be at least 5 years old to take lessons at Sawtell Eventing. However, we do offer a pony ride program for younger children.

Do I have to have my own horse?

NO! We have several quality lesson horses available for riders of most all skill sets.

Do you teach adults?

YES! We have a large adult program full of riders of all skill sets. If you are looking for a supportive group of ladies, and gentlemen this barn is for you!

Instruction

Instruction is offered from Beginner to Advanced Levels. Support for those wanting to compete as well as those that ride for pleasure.

We understand that each rider has their own unique goals and challenges. Our trainers will work with you to create a personalized plan to help you reach your riding goals.

We know that horse ownership can be expensive. That's why we offer affordable lease packages, riding lessons, and training programs to help you achieve your goals.

Training

Starting at $1400 per month,

Horses in training participate in a "cross-training" program, consisting of solid flatwork/dressage basics, jumping/gymnastics, Cross Country Schools and hacking out.

Breeding Services

Stallion handling and marketing. Broodmare, Mare/Foal care and Medical Stall Board. Please Email for more information including rates and availability.

Chelsey is known for her ability to select and bring along quality young horses for both their physical and mental capabilities and has a great way of matching horses and riders for the best performance possible.
