2009 Holsteiner Mare

"The Chicken or The Bird" as she is called around the barn" is a lovely and petite mare with fabulous movement and a wonderful work ethic.  This mare is all business in the arena, but is versatile and can hack out around the property on the buckle with no problem.  With a solid foundation being built, she is being brought along slowly and correctly. Bird began her eventing career in 2015, completing her first Preliminary Level event in 2017.  We see great things in this little mares future.

2008 TB/Percheron Gelding

As a four year old Wally made his debut in 2012 on the eventing scene and showed that young horses have the maturity and capability to do great things.  Winning his gold medal and Consistently scoring in the 20's and low 30's  he packs around XC like he was born to do it. Wally was in a respectable 16th place in the Beginner Novice Horse division at the 2012 USEA American Eventing Championships and moved up to Prelim the end of 2015 where he also earned his third gold medal.  Currently Competing Intermediate and FEI International 2**

 Wally has consistently placed in the top 10 at the American Eventing Championships with Jeanne Wallace and or Chelsey Sawtell in the stirrups.  Wally is a pleasure to be around with his goofy, "little boy" personality charms everyone that meets him.  Expect big things from Wally in the future as he continues to mature and grow.  Proudly owned and adored by Jeanne Wallace of Bellevue, Tn.

2005 Shire X Gelding

"Hugues" was a trail horse in his formar life and came to BlackFriar Farm in October 2014.  After two months of dressage training he is doing Training level dressage schooling some First Level movements.  At his first dressage show he scored a 70% with Chelsey only having the ride on him for two weeks.  Tied with Nightwatch II for 7th place after dressage at the 2017 American Eventing Championships.
Look for big things from this gentle giant as he continues his education and begins his show Career.

"Andee" is a leggy mare with a huge heart and a huge jump.  This girl can jump the moon without breaking a sweat.  Athletic enough for the upper levels, but quiet enough for an amateur, Andee has a promising future and will go far.  Brought along slowly and correctly, Andee Made her debut at rated events in 2015 consistently placing in the top 3.
Andee is proudly owned by Brenda Sparks of Kingston Springs, TN
2015 Andee earned her first Gold Medal and in 2017 was in the top 10 at the American Eventing Championships.
